My friend came on a Fly River Turtle recently which he took off
from someone.
It had mild lung infection and the vet fees came up to about 200
SGD and this was treatment for a week or so.
This person's turtle is seriously infected coz the turtle can't
even swim down.....
It's shell ulcer will take at least a month of treatment....and
with seriously infected lungs I'm not even sure if the turtle will
recover now.
Anyway for the Fly River Turtle I rescued with skin infection,
just 4 antibiotic jabs and 3 multi-vit jab already set me back by
65 bucks. And this is excluding the antibiotic bath I give him on a
daily basis and the marine salt bath too to improve it's skin
condition before I pass it on to it's new home
